Bio
As said by Rolling Stone, “music to lift any stadium”; it’s the dedication and ambition to be heard by as many people as possible and to give it all back to them, to lift the spirit, to heal the hurts to bring tears of joy to wash away those of sadness... it’s maybe a bit old fashioned and idealistic but the band know that those things that truly matter truly survive. Simplifires is a Mexican-Irish Rock band, or as some have said “Corxican”. Some say that they “would not recoil from the deadliest of stares when said that Simplfires just might be the new U2”, while others say things like their songs are “absolutely jaw droppingly good” and that you should “expect the band to be huge by the summer”. Simplifires debut LP “WHY PEOPLE MAKE COUNTRIES” has been widely reviewed and loved by many. They have been lauded for their live shows, and their loud and epic style with a voice that reaches out to the world. While right now they could be called indie you might just get into a fight if you say it to their faces, although the album has just been nominated as album of the year in the prestigious Indie-O Music Awards.
